I’d venture to guess that more people have died from the effects of fear, than whatever was actually out to get them. So if there’s going to be a war on drugs, its efforts should be targeted at the ones that course through our veins causing us to do all sorts of irrational, damaging shit when we’re scared. Next time your fears begin the process of having your bowels release their moist offerings into your undergarments, try your best to figure out what deeply misunderstood concept is telling you to be fearful. You won’t get far enough to save your underwear, but with practice you can. Think about it, what benefits are actually derived from being gripped by fear?
