Speaking of that which makes no sense, I’ll share a true story: As I pulled up to a red light, I looked over to the car next to me and saw an elderly couple, probably in their seventies. What makes my observation noteworthy was that the old bat was ripping the poor guy a new hole – and from the far off look in his weary eyes, two things were quite clear to me, 1- he had long ago parted ways with any sense of dignity that might have once guided him. 2- every internal signal that I had ever perceived to be telling me it was time to hightail it away from the female I was getting serious with at the time, for whatever reasons there were, was dead on the money! And then it became apparent what needed to be done, I needed to roll down my window and ask them a question – “ Hi, I’m planning to get married soon, do you have any advise?” But as my finger went for the button, I realized that his chances of further survival would be severely compromised by my lark, so I instinctively stuck it back into the nostril from whence it came; and began silently germinating the seeds they’d unwittingly helped me create and plant, whose destiny was to metamorphosis into this t-shirt that you will soon be wearing… (And for those of you who actually think, and wondered if I had pondered the underpinnings of such a concept as what is presented on this sublime t-shirt, yes, I do think that if I were getting laid twice a day from a woman that I was very attracted to, and the sex was mutually satisfying, it would be worth making whatever sacrifices I currently scorn. And as an added bonus for those of you optimists who are half-wittedly thinking, “who knows? I might not even scorn them at that point.” - Wake up, your sense of entitlement would at that point, have an even greater grip on you then it does now!).
