Seriously, take at least a minute to appreciate the sacrifices that our Armed Forces have made, and continue to make for us – whether or not you agree with our foreign policy. They are literally putting their ass on the line so yours can safely reside on the couch. Do you really believe that wherever they think they can get away with it, multitudes of unsavory characters aren’t trying to blow shit up? Can you say “world history”? How about “current events”?

FYI, my personal definition of a Liberal is “someone it hasn’t happened to yet”. But don’t misunderstand me; conversely, my personal definition of a Conservative is “someone who wants to make sure it doesn’t happen to them”. It’s a proven fact that the more we each appreciate our blessings (like how nice it is to not have to huddle for heat in a half destroyed building - even at the expense of allowing others to say tomato instead of tomahto), the easier it is for us to all get along.
